11-year-old girl reported missing found safe: Winnipeg police

An 11-year-old girl who was reported missing in Winnipeg has been found safe, police say.

She was reported last seen Sept. 26 in the Fort Garry area, police said in a news release on Monday. 

Police said in an update Tuesday afternoon that she’d been found safe. 

CBC News has removed her name and photo to protect her identity now that she’s been found.
