Winnipeg police seeking help to find missing 77-year-old man
Winnipeg police have issued a silver alert for a missing 77-year-old man in the northeast corner of the city.
Jose Liwanag was last seen around 10 a.m. Wednesday in the area between Gateway Road and DeVries Avenue north of Springfield Road, police said in a notice.
Liwanag is approximately five feet, six inches tall, with a thin build, black eyes and black and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a red jacket and running shoes.
Police are concerned for Liwanag’s well-being and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 204-786-8477.
