14 more deaths, 383 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba on Sunday

There are 14 more deaths and 383 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba on Sunday, according to a provincial news release.

That brings the total number of deaths related to the virus to 395.

This update comes after the province reported a record number of deaths the day previous.

On Saturday, 19 more people died from COVID-19 in Manitoba, including a woman from the Winnipeg health region in her 20s.

More than 240 COVID-19 deaths were reported in Manitoba in November, and there have now been 70 in the first five days of December alone. That includes 16 deaths — Manitoba’s previous one-day high — reported on Tuesday.
