35-year-old man died after being stabbed in Shamattawa, police say
A man has died after he was stabbed at a Shamattawa home late Monday night by someone he knew, RCMP say.
The 35-year-old was taken to the nursing station in the community but died, police said in a news release Thursday.
Police arrested Michael Mander Redhead, 33, on Wednesday and charged him with second-degree murder.
The victim’s name has not been released by RCMP. Authorities say both people live in Shamattawa.
The RCMP major crime services and forensic identification section are investigating.
