B.C. motorcyclist, 77, dead after rear-end collision in south-central Manitoba: RCMP

A 77-year-old man from British Columbia died after his motorcycle was rear-ended by a vehicle in south-central Manitoba, RCMP say.

RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 13, south of Elm Creek, in the rural municipality of Dufferin shortly after 9 a.m. on June 25, an RCMP news release said Wednesday.

A motorcycle was rear-ended while travelling north on Highway 13.

The motorcyclist, a 77-year-old man from British Columbia, was taken to hospital but died Friday.

The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man from Carman, Man., was not physically hurt.

RCMP say their investigation continues.
