Fog advisory blankets much of southern Manitoba on Wednesday morning
Much of southern Manitoba is under a fog advisory on Wednesday morning, Environment Canada says.
The fog has and is expected to cause near zero visibility, the weather agency said in its advisory issued shortly after 4 a.m. Wednesday.
The advisory stretches from Manitoba’s southeastern corner, up into the Interlake, and as far west as the City of Brandon.
It says an “extensive area” of fog has moved into southern Manitoba, but is expected to lift later in the morning.
Travellers are advised to be prepared for visibility that can be significantly and suddenly disrupted.
