Manitoba is offering free entry to all of its provincial parks next week.

Environment and Climate Change Minister Tracy Schmidt made the announcement on Friday, noting vehicle permits won’t be required from July 15th to 21st.

Schmidt says nightly camping fees still apply, as do entrance fees to national parks.

The move is to try and remove the cost barrier for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors for one week this summer.
