Man stabbed in downtown Winnipeg in critical condition: police

A man stabbed in downtown Winnipeg on Tuesday morning was taken to hospital in critical condition, police say.

No arrests made in connection with the attack, police say

A man stabbed in downtown Winnipeg on Tuesday morning was taken to hospital in critical condition, police say.

Police say they were called about the stabbing near Kennedy Street and Sargent Avenue at 11:50 a.m. on Tuesday.

CBC News observed medical personnel performing CPR on a man lying on a stretcher in the area around noon.

No arrests have been made in connection with the attack, according to police.
