Man wanted in death of 28-year-old woman, 3 others arrested: Winnipeg police
The Winnipeg Police Service says it’s still looking for one more suspect in the death of a woman from Fisher River and Jackhead First Nation after three people were arrested in connection to the killing.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ashley Isabella Murdock was found dead at an apartment complex in the city earlier this month.
Winnipeg police said they’ve arrested a woman and two men, but they’re still seeking the public’s assistance in locating a fourth person.
Devon Charlie Colomb, 26, is wanted for accessory to murder.
Police are warning the public not to approach the man, and urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
Meanwhile, a woman and two men have been put in custody in relation to Murdock’s death.
Kelly Marie Kroeker, 32, has been charged with second-degree murder. A 28-year-old man and 38-year-old man are facing accessory to murder charges.
Murdock, who lived in Winnipeg, was reported missing on July 3. Investigators said her last point of contact with family and community members was on June 26.
Her body was found on July 5 on Kennedy Street between Ellice and Qu’Appelle avenues. Police determined her remains had been moved from another location, and Murdock’s death was ruled as suspicious.
