Manitoba woman, 21, killed in rollover in eastern Sask.
A Manitoba woman is dead after her vehicle rolled over in eastern Saskatchewan on Sunday.
RCMP from Carrot River, Sask., about 240 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon, said they were called around 9 a.m. Sunday about a rollover on Highway 55, near the turnoff to Red Earth Cree Nation.
The driver — a 21-year-old from Opaskwayak Cree Nation in Manitoba, about 100 kilometres east of Red Earth — was declared dead at the scene. She was the only person in the vehicle, police said in a Tuesday news release.
Her family has been notified of her death, RCMP said.
Carrot River RCMP continue to investigate with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
