Outage for CBC Manitoba listeners near Churchill next week due to tower maintenance

CBC Radio listeners in and around Churchill, Man., will be impacted by a service interruption on Monday and Tuesday, due to work on a transmission tower in the area.

CBC Radio One will be off the air on the 1230 AM frequency while maintenance crews work on the tower from 8 a.m. on Aug. 19 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 20.

Meanwhile, maintenance of a tower at the Richardson building in downtown Winnipeg will impact the 89.3 FM signal on Friday. The tower can operate on reduced power, but they are generally off-air during periods of maintenance.

During both of these outages, listeners can tune into CBC Radio One on the listen app at cbc.ca/listen and on the local section of the CBC News app.
