Selkirk RCMP looking for help finding missing 40-year-old man

Manitoba RCMP are asking for help finding a 40-year-old man who went missing in Selkirk earlier this week.

Lionel Leveque was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 24, in the city, which is about 40 kilometres northeast of Winnipeg. 

Selkirk RCMP said in a release Sunday afternoon the man hasn’t been heard or seen since, and that they’re are concerned about his safety and well-being.

Leveque is described as being about 6 feet 2 inches tall, with black hair and weighing about 81 kilograms. He was last seen wearing a black or grey winter jacket and dark blue jeans.

The man was reported missing Friday morning. Police said he may be heading to Winnipeg.
