Silver alert cancelled after missing Winnipeg man found
A silver alert for a missing 73-year-old Winnipeg man has been cancelled after he was safely located, police say.
The alert was issued Sunday morning, after he was last seen near Ridgecrest Avenue and Scotia Street on Saturday evening.
He was considered vulnerable and police said they were concerned for his well-being.
An updated release was issued later Sunday morning to say the man had been found.
A previous version of this story contained his name and photograph. Those have since been removed to protect his privacy.
