Winnipeg girl, 11, missing more than a week, safely located

A girl who was missing for more than a week has been safely located.

Winnipeg police confirmed Thursday morning the the 11-year-old has been found but wouldn’t say when or where.

A group mounted a search for the girl Wednesday night in Polo Park area of Winnipeg.

CBC News has removed identifying information because the girl is a minor.
