A 42-year-old Winnipeg man died in a two-vehicle collision in the rural municipality of Ste. Anne on Tuesday, RCMP said.

A 42-year-old Winnipeg man died in a two-vehicle collision in the rural municipality of Ste. Anne, Man. on Tuesday, RCMP say.

The driver who died at the scene was travelling north on Provincial Road 210 at Road 41 N. and collided with a vehicle travelling south, police said in a news release on Thursday. Steinbach RCMP were called at 6:25 p.m. to the crash about 50 kilometres southeast of Winnipeg.

A 70-year-old man from Winnipeg who was driving the southbound vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries, police said.

RCMP continue to investigate with help from a forensic collision reconstructionist.
