Winnipeg police looking for 11-year-old girl missing for almost a week
Winnipeg police are looking for an 11-year-old girl who they say went missing in Winnipeg last week and who is known to frequent the city’s downtown and the North End.
Bella Cook, 11, was last seen at around 9 p.m. on Friday near Edderton Avenue and Derek Street, in the Fort Garry area, police said in a news release Wednesday.
She has not been seen or heard from since, and police are concerned for her well-being.
The 11-year-old is known to frequent Winnipeg’s North End and the area around the former Bay store downtown.
Police said Bella is five feet, two inches tall and has a thin build, with medium-length black hair that’s usually worn in a ponytail.
She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, red pants with white lines down the side, white sneakers, and a black baseball cap, while carrying a floral-patterned duffel bag.
Anyone with information about the girl’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Winnipeg police missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
