Winnipeg police searching for missing teen

Winnipeg police are looking for a missing girl who was last seen a week ago. 

Jaelyn Boivin, 15, was last seen on Tuesday in Winnipeg’s West Kildonan area around 11:50 a.m., Winnipeg police said in a missing person’s alert on Monday.

Police describe Boivin as being five feet eight inches tall with a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black velvet sweater, black leggings, white NIKE runners and a black backpack. 

Police say they are concerned for Boivin’s well-being and are asking anyone with any information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service missing persons unit at 204-986-6250 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
