Woman wanted in March shooting that killed 56-year-old man arrested: Winnipeg police
A 25-year-old woman wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 56-year-old man last winter has been arrested, Winnipeg police say.
Breanne Joan Bruyere was arrested by officers and a tactical support team on Monday, police said in a news release on Wednesday.
She was charged with manslaughter and obstructing justice in connection with the killing of Edgar Allan Bear and has been detained in custody.
Bear was found dead in a house on Selkirk Avenue near McNichol Street, in the city’s Shaughnessy Park neighbourhood, on the afternoon of March 18.
Police say Bear and Bruyere knew each other.
Maxim Dale Garneau was arrested in April and charged with second-degree murder.
