Woman who called for help, but provided wrong address found, Thompson RCMP says
A woman who called RCMP for hep but gave out the wrong address in northern Manitoba has been found, police say.
The RCMP said in a release Wednesday afternoon the woman was safely located. She had made an emergency call early Sunday, but police said the address she provided them in Thompson, Man., was not accurate.
In a release Tuesday, the RCMP urged the public to help them locate the woman.
A previous version of this story included her name and photograph. They’ve been removed to protect the woman’s privacy.
