All major highways in southern Manitoba will close as of midnight or when it begins to snow RCMP said Tuesday.
The closures come in anticipation of a spring storm forecast to bring 30 to 80 centimetres of snow to the region.
RCMP also strongly discouraged travel, advising that people instead make alternate plans.
Police also warned that first responders may not be able to get to drivers who become stranded or need help.
