Police are asking for help finding a 13-year-old boy from Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation reported missing over a week ago.

RCMP said Jacoby Francois was reported missing July 16, when Mounties were informed he had travelled with friends and a known adult from Thompson to Winnipeg.

No one has confirmed his whereabouts since or whether he had returned to Thompson, according to an RCMP news release on Thursday.

RCMP believe Francois may be in Thompson, Winnipeg or NCN, also known as Nelson House. Mounties say they have visited several homes in those places but haven’t yet found him.
