Semi crash, train derailment closes Winnipeg road

Winnipeg police are responding to a train derailment and semi collision that has closed a section of Fermor Avenue and the Perimeter Highway Friday afternoon.

Police said all southbound access at Fermor Drive is closed, and one northbound lane is open.

Police said STARS on its way to take one person to hosptial

There are no reports of hazardous material spilled.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area to allow emergency services to access the scene.
