Blowing snow and bitterly cold forces closures around Manitoba

A blast of winter weather has caused roads and schools to be closed on Tuesday.

Blowing snow has made for dangerous road conditions, with the province even closing some routes.

Highway 75 from the perimeter to the border has been closed.

The winter storm is sweeping Manitoba and expected to bring cold weather  Wednesday and into Thursday.

An extreme cold warning has been issued all of Manitoba, expect for Sprague and extreme southwestern part of the province.
