RCMP searching for missing woman after car found abandoned in snow

Morden RCMP are looking for a 25-year-old woman whose vehicle was abandoned in a snowdrift on a rural road in the RM of Stanley.Maria Pluschnik, of Schanzenfeld, a small community south of Winkler, was last seen on Thursday evening driving a green Dodge Caliber.READ MORE: Winnipeg family desperate for answers as police search for missing manThe Dodge was found abandoned three days later on Road 22 West and Road 8 North.RCMP said it appeared to be stuck in a snowdrift and had been there for some time.Pluschnik is described as having long brown hair, grey eyes, and was last seen wearing a dark red winter jacket, a white scarf, boots, a toque and mitts.Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call RCMP at 204-822-5469, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
