Three-vehicle crash on Dublin Avenue sends five to hospital

Five people are in hospital after a morning high-speed crash on Dublin Avenue Sunday. 

Winnipeg police said they were called to the scene at about 7:05 a.m., near Notre Dame Avenue. There, they found three vehicles had crashed, and five adults were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from serious to non-life-threatening.

At least one sedan and one SUV were involved in the crash. The SUV ended up on the sidewalk in front of a textile company. There is no information on the third vehicle.

Dublin Avenue is closed between McCrassen Street and Notre Dame Avenue and will remain so for the rest of the morning, said police.
