Vaccine clinics now open for mpox immunizations

Temporary pop-up vaccine clinics will be offering the Mpox (monkey pox) immunization in Winnipeg. Contact the Population & Public Health Office in your community area for more information about eligibility and where to access the Mpox vaccine.
Mpox is spread by close contact, which includes touching, kissing, or sex. Most cases in Canada and globally have reported close or intimate contact with other people who had mpox. The overall risk to the general public is low.
